About

Halcyon Arts offers fine art by recognized American artists from the nineteenth to twenty-first centuries. The collection includes Regionalist, Figurative, Sporting, Marine and Industrial Art with an emphasis on art from the American Midwest and South. Our extensive inventory offers an opportunity to explore paintings, drawings, watercolors, and sculpture from the past 200 years.

As a family-run business born out of a shared appreciation for American Art and the thrill of collecting, Bob Sakuta and his daughter, Leslie Flowers, joined forces to create Halcyon Arts in 2022. Bob has over 25 years of experience collecting, studying, and selling fine art. He continues in his passion to share the beauty and craftsmanship of everything from folk art carvings to fine art paintings—many of which can be viewed in the Halcyon Arts Gallery. Leslie earned a History of Art degree from the University of Michigan and a Master’s from King’s College London with a focus on corporate collections and the management of arts organizations. She contributes a curated and thoughtful approach to the management of Halcyon’s large and diverse collection.

Our commitment to providing excellent customer service to our clients is born from having been collectors first and the desire for the process to be enjoyable. We work with collectors, estates, and corporate clients throughout the country in buying and selling fine art. It is our goal to build long-term relationships with current and future collectors whether they are just starting, or are seasoned buyers of art. If something in our inventory sparks your interest, please contact us.
